Tamar Ansh Copywriting

Logo Design

Project Summary

Tamar Ansh is a copywriter who was looking for a logo that would match her straightforward, professional business.

INITIAL RESEARCH

To get a general picture of what Tamar was looking for we had a discovery session phone call. After the phone call she filled out a questionnaire, which delved into the specifics of her style, business, and preferences.

RESULTS OF INITIAL RESEARCH

Based on the discussion and answers to the questionnaire, it was clear that Tamar was looking for a logo that was modern and feminine. She also wanted the logo to be scalable and typographic, but with a unique take. Additionally, she wanted the color scheme to match the palette of her website.

SECONDARY RESEARCH

Analyzing the look of other copywriters’ logos helped define the direction for this project. It also highlighted where there might be room to make Tamar’s logo unique.

DEVELOPMENT

This research provided the foundation for the development of the initial concepts.

Final Version

Pirulen created the modern backbone of this logo. The defined edges, rounded curves, and white space contributed to its typographic appearance, while maintaining the feminine aspect. The color gradient contributed to this element too, but it served other purposes as well. It matched Tamar’s website and made the logo more distinctive. The variations of the logo allow Tamar to have a longer logo where appropriate and a shorter one when she needs to save space. Overall the impression created by the logo is one that complements Tamar’s focused and dynamic business.
